2024 Spring for Your River

Join Willamette Riverkeeper and Oregon WaterShed LLC to Spring For Your River with a paddling cleanup effort from Aspen Street Boat Ramp to Alton Baker Park. This is a "bring your own boat" event - if you aren't paddling your own boat, and know a friend with a drift boat or raft, hop in with them! PFDs required!

Race Day: April 27, 2024

Start Time: 9:30 a.m.

Distance: Approximately 1 kilometer

2024 Eugene Marathon

The Kids Duck Dash presented by OCCU, continues to grow! Over 1,500 enthusiastic ducklings were on the starting line last year. It is definitely one of our favorite parts of race weekend. As organizers of the event, we love to see all of those kids experiencing the thrill of a race, possibly for the first time. We are looking forward to growing this event to give as many kids as possible a chance to experience the fun.

A little about the people you will see...

Doron Fletcher

Yoga certified and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt, Doron brings his 10 years of working with children and 15 years of business acumen to the Recess program. One of his passions is empowering children and parents alike. In Doron's off time, he runs With Doron, a legacy building company, as well as many other community centered ventures.

Tyler Whelchel

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt, Former Head Wrestling Coach, and father of five wonderful children. He is the owner of TWC, a construction based company specializing in 100 year homes. He is also an avid fisherman, skateboarder, and dedicated husband.
